In your cPanel, you can check how much space has been used by the email accounts in your domain. This is a very useful feature, as you can also use it to manage your email accounts<\/a>, ensuring that the amount of disk used is within the storage limit set for your hosting accounts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How To Check Email Disk Usage In cPanel<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

  1. Log into your cPanel.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Go to the Email <\/strong>section and select Email Disk Usage.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    1. On the next page, in the Account <\/strong>drop-down list, select the email account you want to view.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      1. In each email account, you will see the Number of Messages <\/strong>and Disk Usage<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      2. To free up the disk used, go to the Action <\/strong>row and click on Manage<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        1. Under  Messages to delete<\/strong>, you will be given a drop down option to use for deleting the messages you don\u2019t want.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

          • 1 year old or more: <\/strong>This will delete messages older than one year.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • 30 MB in size or more: <\/strong>This will delete messages with a size of 30 MB or larger.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Previously viewed: <\/strong> Messages that you have opened will be deleted.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • All messages: <\/strong>All messages in that particular message folder will be deleted.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Custom query: <\/strong>This option allows you to search for a particular set of messages you want to delete.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

            1. When you have selected the option that you want, you can go ahead and click on Delete Permanently<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
