We want you to be satisfied with HarmonWeb’s services. Please review our refund and cancellation policy carefully before making a purchase.
This Refund Policy governs refund eligibility, cancellation handling, and related billing treatment for new and renewal accounts purchased from HarmonWeb. By purchasing any HarmonWeb service, you acknowledge and agree that refunds are available only in accordance with this Refund Policy, our Terms of Service, and any applicable service-specific terms.
HarmonWeb offers a 14-day money-back guarantee on eligible new hosting accounts. If you are not completely satisfied with our eligible hosting services within the first fourteen (14) days of your initial contract term, you may request a refund of the contract amount paid, excluding setup fees, bank charges, payment gateway charges, processing charges, non-recoverable third-party costs, and any domain registration fees deducted under this policy.
If you received a free domain with a hosting plan, the applicable domain registration fee shall be deducted from the refund amount. If the refund amount is lower than the applicable domain charge, you may be required to pay the difference or forfeit the domain, and HarmonWeb may retain control of the domain until all applicable charges are settled.
The 14-day money-back guarantee applies only to first-time signups. Second-time and subsequent signups are not eligible.
For the purpose of this Refund Policy, a first-time signup means a customer who has not previously held the same or substantially similar service with HarmonWeb under the same individual, business, billing profile, payment method, contact details, or related account history, as reasonably determined by HarmonWeb.
There will be no refund for the following services and items under any circumstances:
The money-back guarantee is provided only on the following services, subject always to eligibility review by HarmonWeb:
No refund will be made if your Service or Services are suspended, restricted, or terminated for cause, including but not limited to violations of our Terms of Service, illegal usage, fraud indicators, payment disputes, abuse complaints, spam activity, excessive resource usage, or other prohibited conduct.
The refund will not cover any form of taxes, setup fees, processing fees, refund handling fees, gateway deductions, non-recoverable third-party charges, or any amount excluded because the web hosting account was involved in a violation of our Terms of Service, illegal use, excessive system resource usage, or any other event outside the coverage of this Refund Policy.
All refund requests are subject to review and approval by HarmonWeb to confirm eligibility under this Refund Policy, including verification of service type, account history, signup status, purchase date, payment status, and compliance with our Terms of Service.
Where a service has already been substantially provisioned, consumed, customized, abused, migrated, activated with irreversible third-party costs, or used in a way that creates unrecoverable cost or risk to HarmonWeb, the refund request may be denied in whole or in part, except where otherwise required by law.
Refunds may be denied where HarmonWeb reasonably believes that the order, payment, account activity, or refund request is associated with fraud, abuse, chargeback risk, identity misrepresentation, policy evasion, spam activity, illegal usage, excessive resource abuse, or other misuse of the Services.
The free domain may be offered with eligible Value and Unlimited shared hosting plans or such other plans as expressly stated on the website at the time of order. Eligible extensions may include .COM, .ORG, .COM.NG, .ORG.NG, .XYZ, and such other extensions as listed on the domain page or offer page from time to time.
All domains listed on the domain page remain subject to availability, registry rules, and the specific conditions of the offer. The free domain is offered with the purchase of every new eligible Value or Unlimited plan purchased for 1 year, 2 years, or 3 years, where expressly stated by HarmonWeb at the time of signup.
Cancellation requests must be submitted through the client area by using the cancellation option under the relevant product or service. Cancellation requests submitted by ticket, email, phone call, or other informal method may not be treated as valid cancellation instructions unless HarmonWeb expressly accepts them in writing.
After a valid cancellation request is submitted, processing may take approximately 4 to 5 working days. Once approved, you may continue using your service until the end of the then-current billing period, after which the service may be terminated in accordance with the cancellation request and applicable billing cycle.
You are solely responsible for making a complete backup of your files, emails, databases, and other data before the termination date. HarmonWeb shall not be responsible for any loss of data after termination. Although backup copies may in some cases remain available for up to 48 hours after termination through JetBackup or similar backup systems, such availability is not guaranteed and should not be relied upon.
If the web hosting service includes a free domain name and you cancel the hosting service, the applicable standard domain charge, as listed on our website, shall be deducted from any refund for which you may otherwise be eligible. If the refund amount is less than the domain price, you must either pay the difference or forfeit the domain. The ownership or control of the domain may remain with HarmonWeb if you fail to settle the applicable difference.
Transfer fees may apply if you wish to transfer a free domain name to another provider. Without payment of the applicable transfer fees, registration fees, or related release charges, the domain may not be released.
Refund requests submitted after the 14-day refund period will not be processed and you will not be eligible for any refund under this policy.
Approved refunds will ordinarily be issued back to the original payment method where operationally possible. If that is not reasonably possible, HarmonWeb reserves the right to determine an alternative lawful refund method or deny the refund where payment reversal is no longer operationally possible.
Refund approval timelines and settlement timelines are separate. When a refund is processed, it may not immediately appear in your online banking account, card statement, wallet balance, or payment platform, even if HarmonWeb or its merchant processor has already initiated the refund. It may take approximately 3 to 14 days, or longer in some cases, depending on card issuers, bank processing timelines, gateway batching cycles, acquirer workflow, intermediary providers, and financial institution procedures.
Approval or submission of a refund request does not waive or cancel any outstanding fees, deductions, penalties, domain charges, transfer charges, or other amounts lawfully due to HarmonWeb.
If a customer files a chargeback, payment dispute, unauthorized transaction claim, or reversal request with a card issuer, bank, or payment processor before HarmonWeb completes review of the refund request, HarmonWeb may suspend further refund processing and may instead handle the matter under its billing, fraud prevention, and dispute procedures.
All renewals, upgrades of hosting, domain registrations, domain renewals, and continuing web hosting contract periods are non-refundable unless otherwise expressly stated in writing by HarmonWeb.
To cancel a hosting account renewal, you are required to send written confirmation at least fifteen (15) days before the renewal date.
To cancel any additional products or service add-ons under the hosting account, including but not limited to disk space, POP accounts, e-mail forwarding, autoresponders, or similar additions, you are required to send written confirmation at least ten (10) days before renewal.
It is important for users to contact HarmonWeb Support at least seven (7) to ten (10) days before the renewal date to request non-renewal, cancellation, contract length changes, upgrades, downgrades, or similar billing changes. This helps avoid duplicate billing actions, renewal confusion, and unnecessary processing issues. Please note that contract length changes may not be processed after the renewal date has passed.
If you already know in advance that you do not wish to renew, you may notify Sales or the appropriate department at any time so that the cancellation department can queue the account for deletion or non-renewal on the renewal date, subject to internal processing procedures.
All cancellations for renewals must be received in writing and within the applicable notice period. Written requests sent through approved channels such as client area requests, accepted support tickets, or approved email records may be accepted. Phone requests do not constitute valid cancellation notice unless expressly confirmed by HarmonWeb in writing.
Refunds do not apply where prohibited by service type, third-party cost structure, licensing structure, domain registry policy, or operational reality. HarmonWeb reserves the right to interpret and apply this Refund Policy reasonably and in good faith in order to protect against abuse, fraud, conflicting claims, duplicate refunds, payment reversals, and non-recoverable service provisioning costs.
Nothing in this Refund Policy limits HarmonWeb’s right to deny, offset, delay, reduce, or withhold a refund where doing so is reasonably necessary to address outstanding charges, abuse-related losses, unpaid balances, domain costs, vendor deductions, payment processor reversals, or legal and compliance obligations.
This Refund Policy should be read together with our Terms of Service and any applicable service-specific agreement. In the event of conflict, HarmonWeb may apply the interpretation that best preserves lawful billing treatment, fraud prevention, compliance obligations, and service integrity, subject to applicable law.
